Questions people ask

What's the difference between finiquito and severance?+

Finiquito is what you've already earned (days, vacation, extras) and you always get it. Severance only applies to some dismissals and the end of temporary contracts.

If I resign, do I have to give notice?+

Yes, with the notice your convenio sets (often 15 days). If you don't, the employer can deduct the missing days from your finiquito.
